Timetables

If you still have questions or concerns about your timetable, please e-mail me (areesor@scdsb.on.ca) so that I can address those before I leave. Although not all conflicts or issues can be thoroughly resolved, I will try my best to ensure that your course requests have been met.

Letter of Reference

If you need a letter of reference for a summer job/volunteer placement/post-secondary opportunity, please e-mail me and I will write one for you. I will check my e-mail weekly during the summer.

 Link Crew

If you are a Grade 11, 12 or 12+ student and would like to be a Link Crew leader for Grade 9 Orientation, we are looking for a few more senior student volunteers. You can receive volunteer hours for your participation, which includes the following dates/times:

Tuesday, September 1 – Training (8am to Noon)

Wednesday, September 2 – Training (8am to Noon)

Thursday, September 3 – Orientation (7:30am to 2:30pm)

It is a great way to get 15 volunteer hours (that’s almost half of your total hours!) and make a difference in the lives of our incoming Grade 9 students! Please contact Mrs. Reesor, Mr. Ellis or Mr. Rothenburg for more info or to sign up.

Report Cards

Report Cards will be mailed out on July 3rd.

Student Files and Passwords

Every summer, student computer accounts are wiped clean to make space for the upcoming school year. If you have files that you wish to save for future years or files of a personal nature, please stop by before the end of the year and save your files to a USB drive or your Google Drive.

Student passwords will NOT be re-set for the Fall. If you forget your password upon your return to classes in September, your teacher can re-set your password for you.

In September, students will have access to Microsoft One Drive and will be allowed that access until graduation.  Students will also continue to have access to their Google Drive accounts. Students will be able to access OneDrive from their personal devices and outside of the school network. This way, students can access homework from home or on personal phones/tablets at school. Students will also be able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote online outside of the school network.

Commencement

This Thursday, June 25th is Commencement. Graduating students and their families are reminded of the following:

Grads are to arrive at the cafeteria to pick up gowns at 6:30. The Auditorium will open at 6:45pm for guests. Graduation begins 7pm.  Please bring a water bottle – it gets very hot in the gym!
