The SCDSB has an amazing opportunity for students this summer!
This week-long social innovation camp is FREE(!!!!!) and will change your world.
From July 6-10 at Bear Creek Secondary Schools, TakingITGlobal (TIG) will be running a Sprout Ideas Camp for 30 SCDSB students in Grades 9-12. The camp will empower youth to understand the world’s greatest challenges by creating solutions to local and global issues. Camp participants will develop a social innovation project plan with peers and will learn from industry and community leaders. For those who are not familiar with TIG, check out their website here. They are an incredible Canadian organization that works with youth around the world to create positive change. Their website has so much to offer!
The deadline for this opportunity is June 15, but I highly encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
